Comcast Imposes Usage Cap on Broadband User's!
Today Comcast announced it will limit the monthly usage of broadband internet a customer can use. Even though right now the limit is high, do you feel its fair? Will it set a precedent for other companies? In the future will we pay for internet usage similar to how we pay for cell phones? I personally agree with the statement made by Mr. Moffett in the article, “While the usage level specified is high, it is now finite…. A line has been crossed.” As a Comcast user myself, I was never made aware of this or even the potential of it. For years Comcast had advertised unlimited broadband access, now this! In my opinion just another poor customer relations issue with Comcast. John,
Thanks for being the first to post!
It was only a matter of time until another large company became greedy and put on an idea like this. I think within the next couple of years their will be alot of compaines trying to take this step. I personally agree with you thinking it is absurd, but being a manager or owner of that company, it must be a bigger profit.
