At this point in time I am opposed to the concept of outsourcing. Yes, I understand that as a business owner, this process can potentially increase your profits by decreasing production costs. However, from a consumer standpoint, I don't think you would feel any relief in costs from this reduction, and besides that, I'm not sure on the quality or safety of the product that you would get. I feel that if manufacturing was done in the States, our government can at least regulate safety measures placed on the products and in addition, it would keep jobs in the US and possible help a weak economy.
